Freud Company History
Freud, a prominent manufacturer of woodworking tools, was founded in 1962 in North-eastern Italy, primarily serving furniture and window & door makers. Over the years, it has established itself as an industry leader, known for producing high-quality tools, including its unique MicroGrain Carbide with titanium, called TiCo™.
In 2009, Freud was acquired by Bosch, a German multinational engineering and technology company, which further expanded its manufacturing capabilities. Today, Freud operates multiple manufacturing plants in Italy, focusing on innovative tool production
